Our Beliefs

1.  There is only one true God and He is the Supreme Creator of Mankind and the Universe. (Genesis 1:1; 2:1-3)

2.  Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin and is both truly God and truly man and the Savior foretold in Scripture. (Matthew 11:1-6; John 1:1-14)

3.  The Holy Spirit is a Divine person, the Teacher and Baptizer of Mankind, the reprover of sin, righteousness and judgement and the one who bears witness of God’s will on earth. (John 15:26; 16:7-15)

4.  That God has provided for all man’s needs to be met through Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4:19)

5.  That God has provided forgiveness of all mankind’s sin through the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ. (Luke 1:68, 77; Acts 4:12)

6.  That God has provided healing of body, soul, and spirit for all who meet His conditions and has made it available to all without respect of persons. (1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Peter 2:24; Psalms 103:3; Romans 2:11)

7.  All Scripture in the Bible was written by Holy men of God exactly as they were inspired to do so by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16)

8.  Mankind cannot be saved from the wrath of God by their works. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

9.  There will be a future physical resurrection of the dead. Only those who turn from sin and to Jesus in faith and repentance will be raised to eternal reward. Those who do not turn from sin and to Jesus will be raised to eternal punishment. (Revelation 20:13-15)

10.  That there is a literal heaven and a literal hell. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 20:14-15)

11.  That all men should walk holy before God and man and cleanse themselves of all defilement of body, soul and spirit. (2 Corinthians 7:1)

12.  That the commandment of the law for all men is, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind.” And, “you should love your neighbor as yourself.” (Deuteronomy 6:5; Leviticus 19:18; Mark 12:30-31)

13.  The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the General Assembly, and Church of the First-born, which are written in heaven. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:23)

14.  The ministry is a divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a twofold purpose: (1) The evangelization of the world, and (2) The edifying of the Body of Christ. (Mark 16:16-20; Ephesians 4:11-13)

The Ordinances of the Church

Baptism in Water

The ordinances of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent and believe in Christ as Saviour and Lord are to be baptized. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4)

Holy Communion

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4); a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26); and is enjoined on all believers “till He comes.”
